Member Utilities
The Auckland Utility Operators Group Inc. (AUOG) is an
Incorporated Society and is a non-profit organisation.
The group was initially formed in 1997 as an informal
working group of utility companies in the Auckland Region, and in 2001
became an Incorporated Society .

Responsible for:
This Committee manages the administrative functions of the AUOG, and in
addition, monitors new legislation and changes to legislation, plus amendments
to Councils' district plans etc
The Auckland Region (CoPWiR) Joint Working Party
Responsible for:
The Code of Practice for Working in the Road in the Auckland Region (CoPWiR) developed in partnership between the Auckland Utility Operators Group (AUOG) and the Auckland regions Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs).
Because the CoPWiR is a ‘living document’ changes will be made as required by the Joint Working Party to allow for new technologies in the future and to clarify any requirements in the CoPWiR which may be difficult to implement due to changes in techniques and materials.

for Membership
Any utility in the Auckland Region who is interested to become a member of AUOG can contact the Secretary for conditions and request for an application form, by phone, fax or email.
